Security Doors – Certification, Upgrades & Discreet Solutions
When it comes to high-security doors, there are situations where certification is essential.
In certain buildings, locations, or insurance-led requirements, doors must meet specific certified standards. I do not manufacture certified security doorsmyself. Instead, where certification is required, I source and install approved, third-party security doors from established manufacturers who specialise in this field.
"This ensures compliance, proven performance, and peace of mind for the client.”
“Where certification is not a requirement, I can often achieve significant improvements by upgrading the hardware on existing doors. This may include reinforced frames, upgraded hinges, locking systems, and improved fixing details.
In many cases, the door itself is not the only weak point — how it is installed and anchored matters just as much.”
“For clients who prioritise discretion, I also design and build concealed or ‘secret’ doors, integrated seamlessly into walls, joinery or fitted interiors.
These are intended to remain visually unremarkable, avoiding attention while still forming part of a reinforced safe space.”
“The approach is always based on what is appropriate for the property, the level of risk, and any regulatory or insurance requirements.
Whether that means a fully certified security door, a carefully upgraded existing door, or a concealed solution, the objective is the same:
a secure, properly integrated entry point that does not compromise the structure around it.”
