Test Wall 1 – Existing Property Construction
This test demonstrates how standard household walls can be breached using basic tools.
This wall represents a well-built, typical UK home construction — upgraded with concrete board instead of standard plasterboard to make it as strong as realistically possible within normal housing standards.
Result:
Even with this improved build-up, the wall was breached using only basic hand tools — a sledgehammer and crowbar.
What this shows:
Standard domestic walls, even when reinforced with stronger boards, offer very limited resistance against forced entry. This highlights why traditional construction alone is not suitable for safe rooms or security spaces.
